Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Daniel Vazac, the operator of Far Orbit. By creating an account or playing, you accept them. They are short on purpose; please read them.
The game
Far Orbit is a free-to-play browser space MMO in public beta. There are no real-money purchases at this time. Credits, nexium, ships and items exist only inside the game, have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money.
Beta status
The game is still being built and is provided as is, without warranties. Features, balance and content will change. Servers may be offline for maintenance, and during development we may need to reset pilot progress. We will try to announce resets in advance, but we cannot promise to keep any progress.
Your account
- Far Orbit is intended for players aged 16 and older.
- One person, one account. Do not share your account or sell it, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Your pilot name must not impersonate others or be offensive. We may rename pilots that break this rule.
Fair play
The following are not allowed:
- Cheating: modified clients, memory editing, packet manipulation or anything that gives an unfair advantage.
- Bots, macros or scripts that play for you.
- Exploiting bugs. If you find one, report it to support@farorbit.vazac.dev instead of using it.
- Real-money trading: buying or selling accounts, in-game currencies or items for real money or anything outside the game.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats or sharing other people's personal data.
- Attacking, overloading or trying to break into our servers.
Enforcement
If you break these rules we may remove ill-gotten items or currency, suspend your account or terminate it. For serious abuse we may act without prior warning. If you think we made a mistake, write to us and we will review it.
Ending your account
You can stop playing at any time and delete your account in the game (Pilot tab, Delete account). What happens to your data is described in the privacy policy.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost progress, downtime or indirect damage arising from the beta. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. We may update them as the game develops; if a change matters, we will update the date above and tell players in the game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the new terms.
