Far Orbit

Privacy policy

Effective 22 October 2026

Far Orbit is a free browser space game. This page explains, in plain words, what we store about you when you play, why we need it, and what you can do about it. We collect only what the game needs to run.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Daniel Vazac, the operator of Far Orbit. You can reach us at support@farorbit.vazac.dev for any privacy question or request.

What we store

We do not ask for your real name, address, phone number or payment details. There are no real-money purchases at this time.

Why we store it (legal basis)

Cookies and browser storage

We use only storage that is strictly necessary for the game to work. There are no tracking cookies and no advertising.

No third-party trackers

Far Orbit contains no ads, no social media plugins and no third-party trackers. We do not sell or share your data for marketing.

We may later turn on privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to see how many people play. If we do, it will run only after you opt in through a consent banner with equal Accept and Reject choices, and you can change your choice at any time. We may also enable error reporting (a Sentry-compatible service) to learn about crashes; it is configured to send technical error details without personal data such as your name or email.

Where your data lives

Our servers are hosted in the European Union, by Contabo in Germany, and reached through our own edge proxy. Your data is not transferred outside the EU.

How long we keep it

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

Age

Far Orbit is intended for players aged 16 and older.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell players in the game.
